There’s a crispness to the air here in Canada already, which is when I start to long for new fall fashion. Staying current doesn’t mean you need to be a slave to trends and go over board. Following some trends is a good idea to keep your look fresh but not all trends are for everyone and doing EVERY trend is overload.
Buy some trends to sprinkle into your staples. I recommend spending the majority of your budget on classic pieces- suits, white button downs, jeans- dark wash etc. and belts, bags and shoes, that can easily be mixed with into your wardrobe. Purchase more quality, designer brands for these staples of your wardrobe to ensure many seasons out if them. The trendy items pick up at lower cost, fast fashion stores – Zara, H&M, or Forever21.
